2007-2011 (under OM ZAMBIA) - OM ZAMBIA Missionary Training College (Missionary Seminary)

 

This College is focused on training African missionaries and sending them out. The College does this through Discipleship Training School and Mission Development Training courses, as well as various skills acquisition courses. A 90,000 SQ foot building with ample sports fields and vegetable gardens.

The project cost was US$2,200,000. The current market value for the asset is estimated at US$4,000,000. During the construction of this property, more than 300 Zambian Nationals were trained in various construction skills for FREE and are empowered for the future. Some still work with SIMPEL on other contracts.

2008 (under OM ZAMBIA) - NAKOLI Primary School (Community School for the marginalized)

 

This community school is situated in a swamp area in a shanty compound of Kabwe. We had to not only build the five primary school classrooms but also an access road across the swamp land. A total of 1,800 SQ feet of Buildings. The project’s cost totals US$35,000 and the current combined market value is estimated at US$50,000. During the construction of these properties, more than 40 Zambian Nationals were trained in various construction skills for FREE and are empowered for the future. Some still work with SIMPEL on other contracts.

2008-2009 (under OM ZAMBIA) - KAMUSHANGA Primary School (Community school for the marginalized)

 

This community school is situated in a shanty compound in Kabwe. The owners of SIMPEL renovated some old buildings from this school and extended it with three additional classrooms and ablution facilities. A total of 2,700 SQ feet of Buildings. The project’s cost totals U$45,000 and the current combined market value is estimated at U$80,000. During the construction of these properties, more than 40 Zambian Nationals were trained in various construction skills for FREE and are empowered for the future. Most still work with SIMPEL on other contracts.

2009-2010 (under OM ZAMBIA) - AROHA Townhouse Complex (IGA Flats)

 

These four 3-Bedroom Units are rented out to the public and have been successfully supporting two local orphan community schools since 2010. A 9,000 SQ foot Building. The project cost was U$89,500 and showed a current ROI of 23.6%. The current market value for the asset is estimated at U$350,000. During the construction of this property, 60 Zambian Nationals were trained in various construction skills for FREE and are empowered for the future. Most still work with SIMPEL on other contracts.

2010 - 2011 (under OM ZAMBIA) - MAKWATI Community Centre (Community school and church)

 

After the 2010 soccer world cup was shown on big screens along with the Jesus film, a need was identified to build a community school in this area. It started with a church plant. The principals of SIMPEL built eight classrooms, ablution facilities, staff rooms, and a church. A total of 6,900 SQ feet of Buildings. The project’s cost totals U$90,000 and the current combined market value is estimated at U$150,000. During the construction of these properties, more than 60 Zambian Nationals were trained in various construction skills for FREE and are empowered for the future. Most still work with SIMPEL on other contracts.

2011-2014 (under OMZ & PDH Foundation) - MAIA Townhouse Complex (IGA Flats for OM Zambia)

 

These eight 3-Bedroom Units and four 2-Bedroom Units are rented out to the public and are successfully supporting local orphan community schools, a school for the disabled, leadership development in Africa, ministries to trafficked people and the OM missionary training college since 2016. A 28,000 SQ foot Building. The project cost was U$506,000 and showing a current ROI of 17.3%. The current market value for the asset is estimated at U$825,000. During the construction of this property 120 Zambian Nationals were trained in various construction skills for FREE and are empowered for the future. Most still work with SIMPEL on other contracts.

2013-2015 (Under PDH Developers Ltd.) - LIFE TRUST Townhouse Complex (IGA Flats for Life Trust)

 

These four 3-Bedroom Units are rented out to the public and have been successfully supporting local orphan community schools since 2015; A 6,500 SQ foot Building. The project cost was U$135,000 and showing a current ROI of 19.6%. The current market value for the asset is estimated at U$350,000. During the construction of this property 80 Zambian Nationals were trained in various construction skills for FREE and are empowered for the future. Most still work with SIMPEL on other contracts.

2016-2019 (Under PDH Foundation) - URBAN BLISS Boutique Hotel (IGA Project)

 

The construction of the hotel was completed in July of 2019; a 54,000 SQ foot Building with ample covered secure parking. The project cost is U$2,200,000. The market value for the asset is estimated at U$5,000,000. During the construction of this property, more than 300 Zambian Nationals were trained in various construction skills for FREE and were empowered for the future. Many of the workers who worked on this project are graduates of other SIMPEL projects.

2017 (Under PDH Foundation) - TABITHA Skills Development Centre (Against Human Trafficking)

 

This Centre was created to empower vulnerable and ‘at-risk’ women in Kabwe through the development of skills such as sewing, tailoring, beadwork, and catering. This new facility provides space to build on their skills to earn a sustainable income whilst being mentored spiritually and socially. A 4,600 SQ foot Building with ample space for vegetable gardens; The project cost was U$100,000. The current market value for the asset is estimated at U$130,000. During the construction of this property, more than 80 Zambian Nationals were trained in various construction skills for FREE and are empowered for the future. Most still work with SIMPEL on other contracts.

2018-2019 (Under PDH Foundation) - WAYA Community Centre (Community school and vocational training center)

 

Life Trust is a German Mission organization that has been working in Zambia since the early 1980’s. The principals of SIMPEL built an additional twelve classrooms, renovated some existing buildings and built a 600-person cafeteria at their community school, targeted at HIV/Aids orphans. A total of 16,500 SQ feet of Buildings. The project’s cost totals U$350,000 and the current combined market value is estimated at U$500,000. During the construction of these properties more than 90 Zambian Nationals were trained in various construction skills for FREE and are empowered for the future. Most still work with SIMPEL on other contracts.

2019-2020 (Under PDH Foundation) - LIVING HOPE Orphan Homes & Facilities (Orphanage and school on coffee farm)

 

The task was to construct six homes out of fourteen, two insaka’s (thatched roof communal area), a sporting facility, and a perimeter wall with infrastructure to service the homes. A total of 12,000 SQ feet of Buildings. The project’s cost totals U$500,000 and the current combined market value is estimated at U$700,000. During the construction of these properties, more than 160 Zambian Nationals were trained in various construction skills for FREE and are empowered for the future. Most still work with SIMPEL on other contracts.

2019-2021 (Under PDH Foundation) - LIEBENZELL Pastor’s Training Campus (Training Facilities with accommodation)

 

The task was to construct a training facility, four 2-bedroom units for student pastors, two 3- and 4-bedroom homes for lectures/staff, six 2-bedroom homes for renting out to the general public, and the perimeter wall with all the needed infrastructure to support the campus. A total of 14,500SQ feet of Buildings. The project’s cost totals U$470,000 and the current combined market value is estimated at U$750,000. During the construction of these properties, more than 180 Zambian Nationals were trained in various construction skills for FREE and are empowered for the future. Most still work with SIMPEL on other contracts.

2020-2022 (Under PDH Foundation) - LIVING HOPE Orphan School, Cafeteria & Coffee Plant (Orphanage and school on coffee farm)

 

During the Second Phase, the owners of SIMPEL were given the task to construct a 16-classroom block school, plus admin and ablution facilities to accommodate a total of 600 children, from grade R to grade 12, along with and a perimeter wall with infrastructure to service the homes. They were asked to further develop a cafeteria and seating hall for 600 children as well as the coffee farms’ first factory to process coffee at international standards. This further ensured a consistent income for the orphanage and school of centuries to come. A total of 23,000SQ feet of Buildings. The project’s cost totals U$320,000 and the current combined market value is estimated at U$550,000. During the construction of these properties, more than 140 Zambian Nationals were trained in various construction skills for FREE and are empowered for the future. Most still work with SIMPEL on other contracts.

2020-2021 (Under PDH Foundation) - LIFE TRUST Townhouse Complex Phase 2 (IGA Flats for Life Trust)

 

These eight 2-Bedroom Units are rented out to the public and have been successfully supporting local orphan community schools since 2015; a 7,500 SQ foot Building. The project cost was U$250,000 and showing a current ROI of 18.5%. The current market value for the asset is estimated at U$450,000. During the construction of this property 200 Zambian Nationals were trained in various construction skills for FREE and are empowered for the future. Most still work with SIMPEL on other contracts.

2022-2023 (Under PDH Foundation) - UMWEO SCBU Ward (Medical Ward – Special Care Baby Unit)

 

The construction of a specially designed medical ward to enhance the chances of special babies and/or mothers in need of specialized medical care; a 4,500 SQ foot Building. The project cost was U$100,000. The current market value for the asset is estimated at U$150,000. During the construction of this property 90 Zambian Nationals were trained in various construction skills for FREE and are empowered for the future. Most still work with SIMPEL on other contracts.

2022-2023 (Under PDH Foundation) – North Swaka Trust HQ (Head Quarters for 134,000hec Nature Conservation Program)

 

The design & construction of an HQ site to facilitate Wardens, Troopers, and Administrative staff, as well as Admin and Storage Sheds; an 11,000 SQ foot Building. The project cost was U$230,000. The current market value for the asset is estimated at U$350,000. During the construction of this property, 60 Zambian Nationals were trained in various construction skills for FREE and are empowered for the future. Most still work with SIMPEL on other contracts.

2008-2023 (mostly under SIMPEL Real Estate Ltd.) - ELITE Houses (Private Residences for various individuals from the public)

 

These homes vary from between 3- to 5-Bedrooms, equipped with bathrooms, school rooms, study rooms, open plan kitchens with sculleries, living areas, dining rooms, TV rooms, spacious porches, garages/carports, concrete parking areas, and established gardens. A total of 27,000 SQ feet of Buildings. The project’s cost totals U$945,000 and the current combined market value is estimated at U$2,2mil. During the construction of these properties, more than 340 Zambian Nationals were trained in various construction skills for FREE and are empowered for the future.
